The checks that matter run on your device, and the camera frames they use are never uploaded. Here is what that means for you.
Age check on your device
A quick face check estimates your age in the browser and asks for a small head turn to prove you're really there. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
Blurred until checked
Your partner's video stays blurred until an on-device check clears it, and it hides again if something explicit shows up.
Never recorded
Video goes straight between you and your partner. We don't record or store it. A few networks need an encrypted relay to connect, and it still isn't saved.
Report and block, always
Both are one tap away in every chat. Reports are read by human moderators.
Scam shield
If someone shares a phone number, UPI ID or social handle, you get a warning before you reply. In India, report fraud on 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.
Fair bans, free appeals
Bans cover the device, network and account. You always see why, and you can appeal for free. Many restrictions end on their own.
We never sell safety.

Is it really free?
Yes. Chatting, interests, games, reactions and every safety tool are free, and you don't need an account to chat. Friends need a Google sign-in. Premium is an optional pass for extras such as choosing who you meet by gender or country.
Is my video recorded?
No. Video goes peer-to-peer between your browser and your partner's, and we don't record or store it. If your network blocks a direct link, an encrypted relay may carry the stream so it can connect. It still isn't saved. Remember the other person's device could record, so don't share anything you wouldn't want out.
How does the age check work?
Before your first chat, your camera estimates your age on your device and asks for a small head turn so we know you're live. Camera frames are not uploaded or stored. If you look under 18 or can't be checked, you can't chat, and we may re-check during video calls.
What if someone is rude or unsafe?
Tap Report or Block in any chat. Reports go to moderators. Nudity is blurred on your device, and a scam shield warns you when someone shares a phone number, UPI ID or social handle. In India you can also call 1930 or visit cybercrime.gov.in.
Can I get banned, and can I appeal?
Yes, if you break the rules or fail an age or nudity check. Bans apply to the device, network and account, and the ban screen tells you why. Many restrictions end on their own after about 15 minutes or 24 hours. Appeals are free, and a ban can't be bought off.
How does Premium work? Can I get a refund?
Premium is a one-time UPI payment for 7, 30 or 90 days (₹49, ₹149 or ₹349). It doesn't auto-renew, so there's nothing to cancel. If you were charged but Premium didn't switch on, or you were charged twice, write to us within 7 days and we'll fix it or refund you. Unused passes can be refunded within 48 hours. What data do you keep?
Messages and video aren't stored. We keep short-lived matching records and abuse reports, and, to enforce bans, your IP address and a device hash. If you sign in with Google we also keep your Google ID, name, email, friends and Premium status. Read the full privacy policy.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in a modern browser on Android, iPhone and desktop, and you can pin it to your home screen. Video needs a camera and a steady connection. Text chat is lighter if your data is low.
Are there group rooms?
Group rooms are open as a beta: voice rooms for up to 8 people and video rooms for up to 4. Tell us what you'd like to see next.
